Blue Beachball Moquette Carpet Shoulder Bag

This bag is an amazing genuine UK Stagecoach upholstery, or 'moquette' seen on many trains and buses and makes an excellent functional Carpet Bag. It is very tactile and has a lovely velvety feel.

It's a fun pattern and I only have one piece of this at the moment.  Some info from Shed No. 2 :

The company was formed in Scotland in 1980 and has since provided transportation across the UK and abroad. The blue beachball moquette is a common feature of the interior of their vehicles - red, orange and blue in a repeating pattern. If you’re a fan of buses, this is guaranteed to be a welcome addition to your souvenirs.

Stitched into a quality leather back and the leather strap can be detached transforming it into a clutch, or makeup bag.

Lined with vibrant orange City of Sydney banner material, and finished with a gold metal zip.

This design brings back so many stories and memories.  I never realised each line had its own design!
