Gabrielli Upholstery Sample Large Carpet Bag

I've taken this gorgeous piece of Italian upholstery sample called Gabrielli and created a large carpet bag!

Carefully stitched into repurposed blue leather, with a leather panel underneath, it's made to last and to throw things in for all the 'essential' shopping and travel you do at the moment!  

The immaculately woven fabric rich in wool and silk has different textures and metallic thread going through it.

Lined with a gorgeous decorative hand-printed Indian cotton and handy leather pocket 

Hand cut leather strap with adjustable knot.  This really is a gorgeous bag and I just have enough of the fabric to make a couple of them. 

Adorned with a silver metal zipper
