Bargello Large Slouch Bag

A beautiful slouchy bag made using a gorgeous woven section of a blue tapestry called Bargello, I found at The Sewing Basket.

The name originates from a series of chairs found in the Bargello palace in Florence, which have a "flame stitch" pattern. 

I have stitched this embroidery into different subtle textured tan leather pieces, with a stripe of another piece of the tapestry at the back. This bag has a lovely feel and 70's 'vibe' and will hold everything you need for the day.   

The knotted leather belt makes a great style strap for this bag, which can be adjusted.

It's a very unique and special bag.
